About HS&B:22
High School and Beyond Longitudinal Study of 2022 (HS&B:22) is a national longitudinal study conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) within the U.S. Department of Education. Study participants include 9th and 12th grade students and their families, teachers, school administrators, and school counselors. HS&B:22 will help educators, parents, researchers, and policymakers better understand the factors that contribute to student success. Information collected through the study also can be used to improve high school educational experiences for this generation and beyond.
HS&B:22 is conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)
NCES collects, analyzes, and reports statistics on the condition of education in the United States. Our mission is to provide scientific evidence on which to ground education practice and policy and to share this information in formats that are useful and accessible to educators, parents, policymakers, researchers, and the general public.
